First thing that comes to my mind concerning this verse is that the "morning star" is given to all who overcomes. At one time according to scripture, Satan, when he was called Lucifer, had the morning star as well.

Is 14:12 "How you have fallen from heaven, 
O star of the morning, son of the dawn! 
You have been cut down to the earth, 
You who have weakened the nations!

And Jesus our LORD is the bright and morning star, so exactly what is the star of the morning. Let us define what the morning star is. The morning star is not the sun instead it is a star that can still be seen even when the sun has risen. I am reminded of the wise men who proclaimed they had seen His (Jesus) star in the east and have come to worship HIM.

Therefore, Jesus was not born on December 25 and was more than likely born in the summer.

Luke 2:8 In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.
Luke 2:9 And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.
Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;
Luke 2:11 for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:12 "This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

One problem, the historical record of this period reveal that shepards were only in the fields tending their flock between March and November after that it was too cold. Therefore Jesus was not born on December 25 and was more than likely born in the summer.

Now think about it, if the pastor does not know the Bible on such a basic subject then how much more ignorant are the people under his teachings.

I heard a very well known mega church pastor preach that there were five(5) witnesses to the birth of Jesus in the manger. The witnesses would be the three wise men and Mary & Joseph. This information is false. The three wise men came sometime after the birth of Jesus. Jesus may have been 2 years old already. The three wise men first saw Jesus living in a house and NOT when he was born in a manger.

Matthew 2:1-2:
"Now when Jesus was (past tense) born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,


Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him."

Jesus was a young child when the wise men came and not an infant. Notice they visited a HOUSE and not a manger.

Matthew 2:11 "And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshiped him..."

All this time you have been accepting something as being fact when it was totally false and not even close to being true. Now think about it, if the pastor does not know the Bible on such a basic subject then how much more ignorant are the people under his teachings.

The Apostle Paul had accepted the suffering that oftentimes accompanies obedience.

United States NOT part of end time Bible prophecy. - Daniel 11 &12, Ezekiel 38 shows explicitly armies to the north(Iran/Iraq-Gog/Magog) will invade Jerusalem in the last days prior to the return of Jesus. America's exit from Iraq is a sign of faltering US influence in the middle east. And the US as a world wide police force will soon disappear, pending economic collapse will fuel this process. The US is the only ally of Israel yet Israel in accordance with the Bible, will stand alone against its enemies in the last days the US will NOT be involved.  In order to understand how world events support the Bible there must be knowledge of geography from a historical perspective. 


Ezek 38:14 "Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it?

Notice Gog MaGog is the area of Iraq and Iran. If you ask the average Christian about end times events their knowledge is very limited. The reason for the lack of knowledge is two fold.  Leadership has failed to explained prophecy that will be fulfilled, and also we do not read the for Bible for ourselves.  
What does this information provide???? Encouragement!!! Yes encouragement that our labors, prayers, efforts are not at all in vain and the coming of the Lord is near. As already defined by the infallible and inerrant Holy Word of GOD from the Holy Bible Jesus is coming!!!.

Ezek 39:6 "And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.
Ezek 39:7 "My holy name I will make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let My holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.


The Bible clearly shows who are the participants of end time events the US is noticeably absent from the field of players. What does this mean to Americans???. It means we are witnessing the fall of the American empire, watch Afghanistan, our exit is near. The Iraq war only solidified Iraq and Iran's solidarity the same will occur with Afghanistan and Pakistan. All these countries are enemies of Israel and all these countries are coming together for the final showdown, the battle of Armageddon.  

They deny the gifting and power of the Holy Spirit the Lord uses to equip us for service, and instead their confidence is put in a piece of powerless paper.

What happens when we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit ?


Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.     You have now received your credentials for ministry and service to Jesus, no degree required.

Many many Churches today required a Masters Degree from a theological seminary before you can even be considered a candidate for ministry. This condition is not in line with the Bible. Here is a specific example of how men are making the word of GOD of none affect with their made up rules. They deny the gifting and power of the Holy Spirit the Lord uses to equip us for service, and instead their confidence is put  in a piece of powerless paper.

 1 Pet 4:10 As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God's many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor].

Please be aware the Jews saw Jesus as an uneducated man as well and yet He was the savior of the whole world. Most churches today would not recognize the Lord if HE came through their front door today on
Sunday and neither would He be allowed to preach because Jesus would not meet their carnal expectations.

John 7:15 The Jews then were astonished, saying, "How has this man become learned, having never been educated?"

Am I saying education is bad? Not at all, But education that contradicts the Bible is wrong, and education is wrong when it annuls the gifting of the Holy Spirit. If you are not baptized  in the Holy Spirit you do not meet the LORD's requirement and you are unqualified for ministry no matter how many degrees you have. Be filled with the precious Holy Spirit or sit down!!

1 Cor 2:4 And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them],

1 Cor 2:5 So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.

How to recognize self righteous people

How to recognize self righteous people. - When seeing someone or hearing of someone overtaken in a fault they respond by saying" If that were me I would never do somehing like that". Even though they are clueless regarding how they would respond in the same situation. Or when giving advice they generally start off by saying"What people do not understand is...." As if they have cornered the market on wisdom.

Gal 6:1 BRETHREN, IF any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.

Rom 12:3 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

The only way that we can properly and accurately appraise any situation is by the spirit. Absent the Holy Spirit you have nothing left but the carnal mind, the carnal (or natural) mind is woefully inadequate to  make judgments  about the activities of men. This is one of the many many reasons Christians must be filled with the Holy Spirit of GOD.


1 Cor 2:14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

Generally those who are self righteous will submit to religious dogma because they are incapable of distinguishing between religious dogma and the truths contained in the Holy Bible. In fact most have difficulty even reading their Bible and often leave their Bible at home when attending church on Sunday. Without the infilling of the Holy Spirit we become ripe to be lead captive by the latest doctrinal fade.

Is all sickness and disease caused by sin? You would initially think the answer would be yes, since prior to the fall of man there was no sickness and disease. The disciples  asked Jesus this question regarding the subject;

John 9:2 And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?"


John 9:3 Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.


I find the response of Jesus to be very profound because it demonstrates the sovereignty of GOD over human affairs.This man had done nothing wrong to deserve to be born blind and neither had his parents sinned that blindness might be passed down to him because of their transgressions.

Current Church Condition- The whole head is sick And the whole heart is faint.

Is 1:5 Where will you be stricken again, As you continue in your rebellion?

Is 1:6 From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing sound in it, 
Only bruises, welts and raw wounds,Not pressed out or bandaged, Nor softened with oil.

Because we have failed to stay accountable to each other, these scriptures represent the current condition of the church. If leadership is allowed to serve in the midst of their sin, how much more will those under their care be allowed to continue in their sin as well.


James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Einstein's Theory of Relativity lines up with the Bible

Last week I think, I enjoyed watching on the net a documentary about Einstein's Theory of Relativity. I find science fascinating because it explains how things work. And , what makes it most interesting is how many scientific theories line up with the Bible. That's right, and please note that it is science lining up with the Bible and NOT the Bible lining up with science. Einstein's Theory of Relativity lines up with the Bible as well.

If you want to know the birthplace of science here it is: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

The greatest physicist of all time is not Albert Einstein, His name is Jesus Christ, the SON of the Living GOD>

Einstein had two components in his theory one involved time and motion and the other, energy equals a physical mass. By the way energy as a function of mass is how nuclear bombs work. It was Einstein that made nuclear weapons possible.

The Theory of Relativity. Example- If you leave earth in a spaceship and move at the speed of light 186,000 miles per second for 24 hours and then turn around and return to earth, when you get back 10 years will have passed but to you in has only been two days.

You see time is indeed relative two days to you 10 years to everyone on earth. Here is a scripture reference that explains the Theory of Relativity two thousand years before Einstein was born.

‎2 Pet 3:8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

Notice the verse says "as a thousand years " and not a day is a thousands years! Why because it is relative baby :)  Since time is relative and not fixed but fluid or dynamic It suggest the ability to travel through time backwards and forward depending on motion and direction.  I view Ps 139:10 now with better understanding. And all other verses the talk about the foreknowledge of GOD.

Ps 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.


And how else could Jesus be slain BEFORE the foundation of the world (past tense) unless time is relative.

Rev 13:8 And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain [in sacrifice] from the foundation of the world.


This is why the recorded creation record does NOT mean everything was created in literally 6 Days. In fact until the 4th Day (or relative period of time) there was no such things as a literal 24 hr day. God did not put the Sun.moon and everything in motion that produces a 24 hr cycle until the 4th day so we know if could not have been literally 6 - 24 hr periods to make all creation. It is easy for me to understand how many unsaved people think Christians are dogmatic in their faith when we try to defend a literal 6 day creation period because it is just NOT possible.

Intellectuals, Scholars and otherwise learned peoples carry no advantages with God and neither will they know HIM through the abundance of study

If you think differently it only means you need a renewed mind, The Lord's ways are so different from what the world expects.- . 1 Cor 1:19 For it is written, I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned and the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning; I will frustrate and nullify [them] and bring [them] to nothing.

Here is a controversial subject but why??? "Man was not made for the woman but the woman for man".

The Bible continuously exposes the times that we are NOW experiencing; Is 4:1 For seven women will take hold of one man in that day, saying, "We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach!" There was a time when men were both the provider and protector of the woman, as GOD designed. -That day is far gone.

More than half of all families in this country are run by women head of households. -This is not from GOD it is the work of the devil as a result of us disobeying the commands of GOD. We allowed the devil to upsurp GOD's ordained authority.

‎1 Cor 11:3 But I want you to know and realize that Christ is the Head of every man, the head of a woman is her husband, and the Head of Christ is God.

Woman by design are intended to complement the man in the family unit;

Gen 2:18 Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.

Now it stand to reason if the woman is to be a helper then clearly she is not in a position of leadership over the person she is helping, that would make no sense.
However the devil has been successful in his destructive practices has told the woman, you are just as good as he is, you do not have to listen to your husband. So instead of working together, many have become competitors and a house divided can not stand. Here is a controversial subject but why??? "Man was not made for woman but the woman for man".

1 Cor 11:8 For man was not [created] from woman, but woman from man; [Gen. 2:21-23.]

If you differ with GOD regarding the defined roles He created for the man and the woman, I would like to submit GOD's answer to your difference in opinion;

Rom 9:20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it?

A simple example of how confused people are concerning salvation.

If someone asked you if you are a Christian, would your answer be yes? And, if someone asked you if you are born again, would you also say yes? The two questions are actually one and the same but I suspect many may give two different answers. This is a simple example of how confused people are concerning salvation.

Nicodemus was a very devout religious man a Pharisee, and he was even a member of the Sanhedrin, which was the highest court in the land among Jewish people. yet he had no understanding of what it means to be born again.

John 3:4 Nicodemus *said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"

Nicodemus asked a not so unexpected question from someone who is unsaved and therefore understands not spiritual things.


John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.


Jesus says we must first be born of water to be saved, referring to water baptism (repentance), And then in order to have a new regenerated nature we need the work of the Holy Spirit, born of the Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit baptism.

Noticed the preaching of the Apostle Paul in the book of Acts, when asked by the crowd, what must we do to be saved.

Acts 2:38 And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This is the work of the Holy Spirit: -

Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

This lesson should clear up the salvation issue for anyone who may not have understood the process.
One thing that I would like to emphasis here is that there has been great neglect in many religious circles concerning the role of the Holy Spirit.  Let me say emphatically that the Holy Spirit indwelling is not optional!!!

Rom 8:9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spiritof God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a childof God]

The greatest love story every told is between Christ and His Church. It is the love story of all love stories.This relationship Jesus has with us, you and I is beautifully described in the incredibly, prophetic and lyrical, Song of Songs.

 It is a love that is literally a love to die for. If you do not know this fact, then you do not know what love is.

It is either the LORD's way to heaven or it's the highway to hell

Prov 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man,

The general population, both Christian and Non-Christian alike, can be described as pluralist when talking about GOD. The assertion is that there are multiple ways to get to GOD and everyone has their own way. Well I got news for you, you could not be more WRONG!

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. 

Christians who maintain a public confession of this scripture will be subject to attack. You will be called judgmental, narrow minded, a religous right wing fanatic and even a bigot. All these things will be said about you because you believe the Bible.

You can not come to GOD on your own terms. It is either the LORD's way to heaven or it's the highway to hell


Deut 30:19 "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live

Are you a partner with GOD, If not, do not expect to receive HIS promises

When disappointments happen to us and when we suffer lost, most Christians will fall back on this scripture "All things work together for the good". What is missing here in the use of this verse is our requirement to be a partner in works that support the purpose of GOD in the earth. If you do not meet the conditions of the partnership arrangement then all things are NOT working together for your good.


Rom 8:28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

Many of us are absent the fulfillment of GOD's promises for us because we have not learned and acted on the requirements needed to receive the promises. We are told to just have faith and GOD will move for you. This statement is very true but consider another true statement, that faith without works (corresponding action) is dead.

Suffering is hard and it is just as much a part of being a Christian as anything else, there is no escape

GOD purpose for our suffering - Suffering is hard and it is just as much a part of being a Christian as anything else, there is no escape. Suffering for a Christian can be compared to the burnt offering offered in the old testament. The burnt offering was a fellowship offering that was neccessary to atone for sin and therefore allow fellowship with GOD.

We get to know Jesus through the fellowship of His suffering.

 Phil 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings,....... We get to know Jesus by sharing in like experiences, suffering is one of those experiences.

The burnt offering went into the nostrils of GOD as a sweet smell (perfume). That is why the scripture says Jesus is a sweet smelling savor. Eph 5:2b... as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance..

 Song 1:3 [And she continues] The odor of your ointments is fragrant; your name is like perfume poured out. Therefore do the maidens love you.

Your abundance was supposed to supply the lack of the needy but instead your money went to the greedy.

The devil has pulled a fast one on us through the distributors of the heretical 'Prosperity Gospel', Oh yes he has. By coercing you to give all you can give to miniseries with flamboyant high living preachers you have nothing left to give to people with real needs that pass you by daily. Your abundance was supposed to supply the lack of the needy but instead your money went to the greedy.

‎2 Cor 8:14 at this present time your abundance being a supply for their need, so that their abundance also may become a supply for your need, that there may be equality;
2 Cor 8:15 as it is written, "HE WHO gathered MUCH DID NOT HAVE TOO MUCH, AND HE WHO gathered LITTLE HAD NO LACK."

No charity equals no salvation.

Let me give you a quick bit of information, many remark that they will be putting on their robe upon arriving in heaven, well if you are not wearing a robe now there will be no robe for you in heaven, your robe is the righteous acts you have performed in the earth.

 Rev 19:8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

If you are at all confused about what determines an act of righteousness, here is one scriptural definition:

  2 Cor 9:9 as it is written, "HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER.

Most people who really know me will say I was never on board with the Obama craze in the 2008 election and that statement is true. My position politically even offended a few of the people in my social circle. In my defense I could not imagine how so many people could put so much faith in a "man" no matter his ethic background. The Obama movement came with an atmosphere of change and hope that has not appeared on the American landscape since MLK. Present circumstances are clear to me,they say Obama is no MLK.

My guide for living is wholly contained in the Bible and using the Bible as my guide I could not possibly support the policies of the current administration on many issues. I did a Bible lesson months ago titled "Obama and Jesus, Can Two Walk Together Accept They Agree" .

In this lesson I was showing how Obama's policies are not inline with Bible morality. The President's claim to be a Christian can not be proven by his actions or His administrations policies. 

Many (not all) African Americans are against anything that remotely criticizes the President. In this blinded group,the excuses for Obama are endless. The ability to be objective with these people is lost. Now some of you will probably label me as a tea party member. Me, a tea party member, you must be kidding me.

The Tea Party is another blinded group of Americans who have lost the ability to be objective. The tea party for the most part, have their opinions based on racial hatred and widely demonstrated ignorance of the Constitution and basic civics. The republic party's allegiance to this rouge political entity's influences, has caused the collapse of this governments ability to work for the major populace of the country. The Obama presidency has proven to be a litmus test for racism in this country. The litmus test reveals racism is alive and well in the USA. The real theme behind the Tea Party is;" We will not let this Black Man tell us what to do right or wrong because to us, He is still a nigger" As painful as it is to even write such an offensive adjective by using the "N" word in my post, I decided to take an artistic liberty to highlight what I deem an atrocious an extremely shameful attitude of these people. 

The Tea Party's position does not at all represent the feeling of most Americans, otherwise Obama would have not been elected. The presidents grass roots organizers did get him elected. However little has been done for his constituency, and this mass of people are the biggest losers in this presidential term. So how did we become the biggest losers? Was it all Bush's fault? Yes some of this is Bush backlash. We had a budget surplus after the Clinton years wiped out by Bush. Tax cuts to the rich, two unsubstantiated wars and the absent of oversight in the financial sector causing the worst economic downturn since the Depression. Bush did throw a bone to our seniors with the prescription add to medicaid. The Bush years equals deceased tax revenues and increased spending resulting in huge budget deficit.

Obama is likely to be NOT reelected in 2012! Which means a worst case scenario for Americans, the world shudders to think what a Republican lead president would do for the stability of world markets, it is indeed a scary thought. How did Obama blow it after coming into office with such positive momentum? Well keeping many of Bush's appointees did not help, were we not looking for change? Bill Gates for example why was he asked to stay on for secretary of defense? I think Gates pretty much trashed any efforts to pull out our troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. Obama's campaign promised that He would withdraw from Afghanistan as soon as He took office, as His first line of business but now we have another 60 thousand troops in this country.The money we spent in wars alone would balance our budget even with wall street and our corrupt banking community problems. Another example of this administrations failures would be the time spent formulating a health care bill at the same time our unemployment rate was raging at 10 percent and for minorities the jobless rate is much higher. Time would have been better spent in creating a jobs bill then instead of now, as it currently seems to be a means of last result. I guess if we get free health care we can go to the hospital if we need to eat.

Rom 8:28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

This is what I mean when I say, it is GOD's way or the highway, only those things that are fitting into the Lord's plan will work together for our good. We dare not use this scripture in a universal sense because it is not applicable in all situations. 

The proper use for this verse occurs when conditions meet the criteria set forth in the scripture. The first thing to notice is that GOD must be a partner  in our labors. Partners work together and in our case the work would be accomplishing the LORD's purpose in our labors. Now when we read our subject scripture the message is more defined. All things do work together for our good when GOD has partnerd in our efforts.

 Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]


The above scripture, Mark 16:20 identifies an event where the LORD is working with His disciples confirming  His word by the signs that followed. Jesus is a partner in their labors because it was His command that they go forward and preach. The disciples were acting on the plan and purpose of GOD.


This is the plan of GOD:


Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].


And, this is the purpose of GOD:

Mark 16:16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

Jesus goes on to say that this scripture applies to those who love me and are called according to my design and purpose. We can not proceed merrily along in life apart from the design and purpose of GOD and expect a good result in the end, it is that simple.

Christianity does not operate neither does it exist outside the design and purpose of GOD. And, the design and purpose of GOD is communicated to Christians through His Holy Bible , His Holy Spirit and through His hand picked sanctified and consecrated messengers in the earth.  Christianity fulfills the will of GOD through acting on the revelation knowledge of GOD's purpose.

2 Cor 6:7 By [speaking] the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand [to attack] and for the left hand [to defend];
2 Cor 6:8 Amid honor and dishonor; in defaming and evil report and in praise and good report. [We are branded] as deceivers (impostors), and [yet vindicated as] truthful and honest.
2 Cor 6:9 [We are treated] as unknown and ignored [by the world], and [yet we are] well-known and recognized [by God and His people]; as dying, and yet here we are alive; as chastened by suffering and [yet] not killed;

In most churches today Jesus would not be qualified to teach eventhough He was sent by GOD Himself. GOD remembers the poor.

Luke 4:18 "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME,
BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR.
HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES,
AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND,
TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,

Have you ever thought about why the Lord specifically says I am anointed to preach the Gospel to the poor? I did think about this and then I remembered this scripture:

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

There was my answer, God chose the poor as the object of the salvation message.

Luke 7:22 And He answered and said to them, "Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the BLIND RECEIVE SIGHT, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the POOR HAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO THEM.
Poor people are the most rejected people in this world. And being rejected by the world puts you in a great position to be accepted by GOD.

1 Cor 1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,
1 Cor 1:28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are,
1 Cor 1:29 so that no man may boast before God.

Being poor does not provide you material resources that will cause you or I to boast.
Being poor causes you to depend on GOD for your daily needs.
Being poor keeps you with an attitude of humility before GOD.

It is through the circumstances we encounter in this life that mode and shape us into the people GOD desires us to become.  The LORD uses poverty as an instrument to accomplish His divine purpose in His people. When we seek the LORD by necessity for our daily needs we learn to trust GOD and thereby become rich in faith.

If you are rich this instruction given to a rich young ruler may be appropriate for you as well:

Mark 10:21 Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, "One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

The test for the unsaved: If you fail the test then you are swine.

The test for the unsaved:

1 Cor 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals.

If you are convicted by the above scripture then you can be saved and you have passed the test. Enter into the salvation experience.

Acts 2:38 And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

If you are offended by this scripture then you can not be saved you have failed the test and you are going to Hell. Yes capital "H" because it is a real place. How did your test results turn out???

If you failed, you are swine!!!!

Matt 7:6 Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces.

Are you converted??? Until you are you will never know what you ougth to be

"Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you."


Just like me and you there was a time Simon Peter, the Apostle was yet to know what He ought to be.... Oh Yes, brother Peter can relate very well...

Luke 22:31 "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat;
Luke 22:32 but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."

What?? turned again???? did Peter backside??? YES HE DID!!! otherwise Peter would not had to turn again . .. you can not turn again unless you've first turned...Now before anyone even slightly considers to be judgmental in this case, consider your own struggles with sin. My brothers and sisters more often than not our conversion, the salvation of our souls (will, thought and emotions) is a purging process, purified by the fire of life's circumstances: These circumstances are fueled by the antics of Satan himself. We are being corrected and put into the place to participate in the very holiness of GOD HIMSELF. Otherwise without the shifting and the purging you will never ever know what you ought to be!!! We can never prove the will of GOD for our life..

Heb 12:10 For [our earthly fathers] disciplined us for only a short period of time and chastised us as seemed proper and good to them; but He disciplines us for our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own holiness.

The last few verses I reference sums it all up.

1 Pet 5:8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
1 Pet 5:9 Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset--rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.
1 Pet 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.

A new way of thinking -The renewed mind

Renewal: to begin again; recommence

Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

It is clear , as this verse states, that we can not continue with our old way of thinking once we are Born Again.  Everything around us must be viewed through a renewed way of thinking.  You are no longer the person of your past and you have been moved or translated to the realm of the Kingdom of GOD. Our minds must be taught how to think in accordance with Heaven.

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

One of the very significant events that occurred in the ministry of Jesus is when Jesus gives Peter this instruction:


Matt 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.


Keys ,of course represent access, if we have keys then whatever door those keys fit we have gained access through that door. The Apostle Peter was given access to the Kingdom of GOD. Peter could now learn and observe how things are done in Heaven and then apply Heavenly laws to the activities happening in the earth. Did Peter go into heaven physically and learn these things?  Perhaps?  It was the Holy Spirit who was the sole facilitator in accomplishing this work in Peter. By learning Kingdom principles the Apostle Peter's mind was renewed.

Just like the Apostle Peter , followers of Christ must have their mind renewed and we are given this instruction in the headline scripture Romans 12:2.  We can not live successfully as a Christian without a renewed mind.

A renewed mind understands what the will of GOD is in the earth. Let me present an example of how the renewed mind thinks.



Matt 16:21 From that time forth Jesus began [clearly] to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders and the high priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised from death.
Matt 16:22 Then Peter took Him aside to speak to Him privately and began to reprove and charge Him sharply, saying, God forbid, Lord! This must never happen to You!

Matt 16:23 But Jesus turned away from Peter and said to him, Get behind Me, Satan! You are in My way [an offense and a hindrance and a snare to Me]; for you are minding what partakes not of the nature and quality of God, but of men.

Satan in this verse is being rebuked yet it is Peter who is speaking. Clearly this confrontation happen prior to Peter being fully converted to the ways and purposes of GOD. Jesus is saying you are reacting from the viewpoint of unregenerate man and therefore unable to see the will of GOD for me as your savior. Unless your mind is renewed you can not comprehend the will and purposes of GOD.

1 Cor 2:7 But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God--[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].
1 Cor 2:8 None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. 


What the world views as failure, Heaven may view the very same event as success. There is no greater example than the crucifixion of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.


Obtaining a renewed mind involves being taught the Heavenly view through the Bible and by then behaving in accordance with the Heavenly view. Just like most things we gain book knowledge and then by practice we learn.


1 Cor 1:18 For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.
1 Cor 1:19 For it is written, I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned and the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning; I will frustrate and nullify [them] and bring [them] to nothing. [

Luke 6:24 "But woe to you who are rich, for you are receiving your comfort in full.

Matt 6:19  "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and 
rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. Matt 6:20 "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;

Matt 6:21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.



In a time where materialism rules the minds of people in and out of the Church the above verse seems to be a forgotten scripture.  The concept introduced by Jesus in Matt 6:19 -6:21 is the proper view of wealth to be held by followers of  Jesus Christ. 

Luke 12:15 And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man's life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs. 

What causes covetousness??? It comes from the root sin of "The pride of life". 

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of earthly things]--these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].

There is a principle in these scriptures that we need to comprehend and once we understand we must then embrace. We must understand in our hearts and in our mind what Jesus is explaining here to us concerning riches. The principle here is one that changes our thinking from a worldly perspective, to a GODLY view. There are two kinds of wealth, the wealth that is of the earth and temporal and the wealth from heaven which is eternal. Learning this view from heaven contributes to one of many elements necessary to obtain a renewed mind.  Only with a renewed mind can we prove the will of GOD.

Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Before our salvation experience our mind saw riches in terms of the accumulation of money and possessions.  Lavish living in large spacial mansions, having multiple cars and fat overflowing bank accounts is how we measure wealth and success in life. Of course this is indeed a measure of wealth but it is the temporal kind that can be enjoyed as long as you remain on the earth. But now we see true wealth as defined by Jesus.  True wealth is obtained through laying up treasures in heaven and not on the earth. 

In regards to the necessary things  needed for living  Jesus will take care all our needs according to His riches in Glory.  By seeking first the Kingdom of GOD all these things will be added to us as well.  Jesus says if I gave you a body of course I will clothe you and if I have given you life of course I will feed you.  By seeking first the Kingdom of GOD and His righteousness all these things will be given to you as well.

Our efforts in life must be directed in a way that demonstrates we are seeking the Kingdom of GOD. We can not seek the Kingdom of GOD and riches as well, the two are in conflict with each other.

Luke 16:13 "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth."

Knowing that the LORD says we need not concern ourselves with the abundance of material things frees us from the pursuit of material things and allows us to seek real treasures and not temporary treasures that pass away in time.

Do you want to know how to pursue treasure in heave? 

Matt 19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

In order to obtain treasure in heaven sell your material treasure you own in the earth and then you've earned eternal treasure in heaven. This is a hard concept for the rich, many can not begin to even fathom selling their possessions and giving it to the poor. Yet Jesus says that is how we gain treasure in heaven when we give away our riches to the poor. No wonder the Bible says it is very difficult for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of GOD. The mere thought that of such an act of charity to the vast majority of the rich is utterly ridiculous. 

Luke 18:25 "For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." 

Even so there are some RICH who get it !!! Not many as the Bible tells us but there are some.

 Acts 4:34 For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales
Acts 4:35 and lay them at the apostles' feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.

Everyone who participated in this generosity by giving the proceeds from the sell of their possessions earned treasure in heaven.

The truth is, in regards to gaining treasure in heaven, many of the rich fall woefully short. The Lord says since you've enjoyed all the creature comforts of the rich in this life there will be NO comfort for you in the next life. The reward for the many rich ends when their life ends.


Luke 6:24 "But woe to you who are rich, for you are receiving your comfort in full.

Luke 16:22 "Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried.
Luke 16:23 "In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luke 16:24 "And he cried out and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.'
Luke 16:25 "But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony.
