Intellectuals, Scholars and otherwise learned peoples carry no advantages with God and neither will they know HIM through the abundance of study. Jesus remains hidden from these people, their table has become a snare and stumbling block to knowing GOD.

Matt 11:25 At that time Jesus began to say, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth [and I acknowledge openly and joyfully to Your honor], that You have hidden these things from the wise and clever and learned, and revealed them to babies [to the childish, untaught, and unskilled].

If you think differently it only means you need a renewed mind, The Lord's ways are so different from what the world expects.- . 1 Cor 1:19 For it is written, I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned and the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning; I will frustrate and nullify [them] and bring [them] to nothing.
