Heb 5:8
Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered
Heb 5:9
And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him
Hello everyone
I feel lead to discuss the topic of submission in hopes that we begin to recognize the principle behind GOD's requirement of submission and HIS purpose embedded in submission.
Most of the time we view submission as a weakness, we see it as a battle in which there is a tug of war over control and through this tug of war, through this struggle the weaker one finally submits and the stronger one finally prevails. This perspective of submission is a worldly view and a wordily definition of the submission principle.
Let us see submission from GOD's view , from the Lords perspective and understand things as our GOD defines things, then we see things clearly. Seeing things clearly involves our LORD bringing understanding to our hearts through His Word through the Holy Bible and through the agency of the Holy Spirit.
Job 12:13
"With Him are wisdom and might; To Him belong counsel and understanding.
John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
Before the LORD saved me on July 21, 1984 I had little respect for authority. As a young person I had few examples of GODly authority and consequently I was distrustful and rebellious against authority figures. And that was my attitude I basically had little regard for Authority and even despised authority. But when I became saved the LORD had to tear down this sinful behavior against authority and build a new respect and reverence for the LORD's purpose in both submission and authority.
The authority principle:
Luke 7:8
"For I also am a man placed under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."
This familiar verse gives us a very good definition of authority. Contained in this definition are two elements , the first element is the position of authority and the second is the power of authority. The authority principle is GOD's vehicle for exercising HIS will over HIS creation.
Rom 13:1
Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
44
Rom 13:2
Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Rom 13:3
For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;
