JESUS talks to an unsaved preacher - A Bible Oxymoron

Oxymoron: A paradoxical juxtaposition of two seemingly contradictory words

By definition a preacher is someone who is already saved; an unsaved preacher is therefore an oxymoron.

One of the most striking things to me in church society or church community is the extremely large amount of so called Christians who are not actually saved.  I find this phenomena to be representative of a countless number of people   There has always been people who know how to play church, but have no relationship with the head of the church, Jesus Christ.

This condition as described above, is illustrated from a real conversation between Jesus and a religious leader of Israel.

Again, a religious leader( preacher), should be already saved. But this is NOT the case

John 3:1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
John 3:2 this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."

How do I know Nicodemus was not saved? It is very simple, he did not recognize Jesus as the Son of GOD.
There is an acknowledgement that Jesus must be a teacher, sent from GOD. But there is a huge difference between the two, recognizing  Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God brings you into the salvation experience. Saying that Jesus is a teacher, a prophet or anything less that what He is, the Son of God , leaves you in your sinful state.

Jesus asked His disciples this very question, who do you say that I am?

Matt 16:15 He *said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"

Matt 16:16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

We can find so many Non Christian religions that say Jesus was a prophet , a very wise man and other things, they admit that He existed but fall short of saying who He was, He who is. and who He will always will be and that is, The Son of GOD.  However this is to be expected, they do not say they are Christians.

What separates the Christian from all other religions? Jesus is the Christ, having that revelation separates us from everyone.

If you talk to someone who says they are saved , here is a certain way of finding out if they truly are saved, ask them this question;

Are other religions that do not believe in Jesus saved?, The unsaved persons reply will be, Yes everyone has their.  own way, we have our way with Jesus and they have their way , we are all trying for the same goal .
Many Many so called Christian leaders adhere to this line of thinking, but it is NOT true.

Acts 4:11 This [Jesus] is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner [the Cornerstone].
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.

I would consider the matter regarding the question now settled.

When we have not been saved ,spiritual subjects are difficult if not impossible to comprehend

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:4 Nicodemus *said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"

Nicodemus responded to the Born Again concept as would be expected from a natural unsaved person

1 Cor 2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

If you tell an unsaved person that you are filled with the Holy Spirit, they can not conceive that to be literal. You will find them trying to explain being Spirit filled as an abstract  but no way will they think that means to be literally filled with the Precious Holy Spirit.  " Yes we all have GOD, everything has GOD in it the, plants the ocean, the sea the animals" they will erroneously say something along those lines.

Without salvation you  can not see GOD, at least not the real GOD. Here are the prerequisites;

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Although you might call yourself  a Christian, without the Born Again experience in your life you are not saved. You are an oxymoron because being a Christian means you are Born Again.

Rom 8:9................... But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].

How do I obtain this born again experience???  Read your Bible , it is all there.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
