Since the Pharisees did not believe in the resurrection this question absolutely floored them. To answer this question correctly would cause them to admit their theology was wrong so they decided they better shut up..lololol I bet Jesus would mess up a whole lot of theology today as well, especially around folks who do not read their Bibles
